Bus To Syracuse/ Coverage by Kevin Devaney on Blog

What Kevin Devaney Said on His Blog:

"What I won't forget: Dino Garr rarely looks excited. He's a perfectionist who demands a lot from his players. I've actually seen him scowl at his teams have scored touchdowns.

Throughout this game, though, Rye's coach was glowing. He was high-fiving players and smiling and clapping when his defense would make a big stop. I think he expected to win every game up until Saturday night. But he knew it would take precise execution to beat Peru and he got as close to that as possible from his team."
