Game after game this season Garnet fans have seen # 22 bob and weave his way down the field - just Connor doing what he does. But when you look at the numbers you appreciate just how amazing his performance has been. Connor leads Rye with 650 yards rushing this season - more than 1/3 of the entire teams yards rushing (1989 yards). And, as you know Rye has some pretty strong rushers in Peter Longo, Ted Dempsey, Franny Archibald and Kyle Ramahlo, just to mention a few. Connor also has the third most pass receptions, 12 for 110 yards.
But what really draws fans to Connor is not his numbers but his attitude. Watching him you get the distinct impression that there is no where else on earth he'd rather be then on that football field - he exudes not just confidence but joy as he hops over the blockers. More than Connor's ACL was torn last year when he missed the whole season, some Garnet fan's hearts tore too and we are all very glad to have him back!
